Running Windows 10, I have GVim for xlwings (Python on Excel) and Vim in my Linux on Windows (LoW) for writing essays and non-code stuff. I basically run two different configurations of Vim.
For code: GVim on Windows (native)
For writing: Vim on mlterm -V
(use right click + ctrl to open up mlterm’s configuration screen)
mlterm
is the only terminal accessible on LoW which has support for proportional (non-monospaced) fonts. My personal preference is to use proportional fonts over monospace for writing.
